Solar Activity indices

Solar activity directly influences the ionospheric activity and, in particular, the Total Electron Content which is a key parameter for the mitigation of ionospheric effects on GNSS. Sunspot Number and the radio flux at 10.7 cm (F10.7) are two commonly used Solar Activity indices.

The page presents provisional Sunspot numbers and F10.7 radio flux from NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center (http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/).
